The new SEDEX Model 85 LT-ELSD combines total remote control withunprecedented sensitivity. This smaller, stackable unit occupies only 10 linear inches of bench space. Full SOP protocols are provided for GLP compliance and validation procedures.

The SEDEX Model 85 LT-ELSD provides the ultimate in Low Temperature Evaporative Light Scattering Detection for HPLC. This detector includes a number of innovative features including the ability to select the best nebulizer and an unique LT Technology evaporation drift tube design optimize both resolution and sensitivity. In addition, you can control the system locally or via a PC. A remote shut down mode is provided to minimize cost and enhance system lifetime.

Low temperature evaporation of the mobile phase.

Optimizes sensitivity of thermally labile and volatile compounds.

Selection of the appropriate nebulizer and an innovative cell design minimize band broadening.
A series of four nebulizers are available from SEDERE to optimize the resolution of the separation. These nebulizers cover the flow rate range from 5 µL/min to 5 mL/min and can be readily changed to meet the requirement of the experiment. In addition, the cell is designed so that the observed bandwidth is the same as a UV/Vis detector.

Complete Remote Control.
The gas, heater, photomultiplier and lamp can be automatically shut off at the end of a series of analyses.

Sensitivity is enhanced by digital signal treatment.
An innovative signal processing algorithm minimizes noise and thereby optimizes sensitivity.

LT-ELSD allows for detection of essentially all compounds.
Detection is based on a universal property of all analytes and does not require the presence of a chromophoric group, electroactive group, etc.
