Specifications :
The Sedex V2.x controller software allows you to control the detector from a PC. It has been designed to allow the operator to:

Provide the user the full control of SEDEX detectors model 75S, 754 and 85

Provide the control of several detectors on the same computer (up to 16 detectors connected to one computer)

Set operating parameters for manual operations of the Sedex detectors from a personal computer.

Generate automated methods that may include temperature and/or gain changes as a function of time. Those automated methods can be launched automatically by autosampler for example.

Features :
Two modes are available, the manual or the automated mode.

1- The manual mode
In this mode, the operator has the copy of the detector front panel on your PC screen, which allows him to control the detector from the PC.

2- The automated mode
In this mode, the operator creates methods (change of gain and/or temperature as a function of time) and can launch several runs automatically. When the Sedex detector is connected to the autosampler, multiple runs can be launched during night for example. Datas are saved in chosen files with incremental numbers. Since 1.3 version, this software allows to loop different methods, by creating 'multi-programs'. For example, you can make an automatic run with : 2 runs of glucose methods, followed by 5 runs of fructose methods,... ended by a cleaning run.
